After nearly 2years, i have revamped my web site, below are some screenshots…

I have also rewritten nearly all the text + added new stuff while removing other pages.
Any additional stuff that i may find interesting will be added in the Cool Stuff section, for example, simple articles showing you how to use any email add with msn messenger or how to compress a picture, the easiest way…

Innovations in this version:

• Use of lightbox script for image zooming
• minimal text as far as possible
• use of pictures to make the site more interesting…

Future works:

• use that banner (or another one )or a lighter version of the banner onto this blog
• use criticism from my friends and visitors to make the site better
• make a new intro banner, by replacing the existing one, dated 2 years back too!

You Use Messenger (msn, yahoo…) and you want to put a status indicator in either your hi5 profile, blog or web site?
think that am the first to explain properly how to do it !
Just follow the steps and in this example am putting it in my hi5 profile and also in my site, just like above in the banner space.
Let’s Start!!!

• Choose one of host sites
  There are several sites hosting this service but the site providing this service is http://www.onlinestatus.org
  Just Choose one of the sites from below from the following page ( http://www.onlinestatus.org/usage.php ) and continue the steps!

• Enter your email
  Choose your messenger, add your email id etc…

  

• Copy your code, link
  Click “Get Your HTML Code“and then copy the code generated…

Transferring pictures over the net can take lot of time if you have a slow connection or the picture/image is huge!

by compressing a picture, the size is reduced hence accelerates the transfer but at the cost of the quality.

This article is for Novice Users

You wont need any extra software, just your simple paint program!

Below are the Steps:

1. Print-Screen the Image/Picture
   Print Screen simply means taking a screenshot of the screen! lol
   How? Open the Picture/Image with your usual program and
   then Press the Print Screen key found at the top of your keyboard, just above your insert key(depends upon keyboard layout)
   By Pressing this key, a picture of the entire screen is taken.

   

   If You want to focus only on the window or program in the front end, press the following combination ( alt + Print Screen )

   

2. Paste In Paintbrush
   Now, open your simple paint brush program and do >>Edit >> Paste
   You can now resize the picture or cut out (crop) those parts you dont want.

   

3. Saving
   The final step, saving the new image file.
   Click File >> “Save as” and make sure to select “JPEG” from the drop down menu.

   

   Once saved, you can now send this new file to your contacts…
   For example, the picture being dealt with in this example was 235Kb and after doing a print screen, it is now 60Kb !

   Simple but Efficient !

A hard day now begins, with lots of work, sometimes with small breaks in between completed tasks, a small cup of coffee, some mins talking with colleagues, helping others to solve problems related to HTML and CSS mainly.

At the end of the day, a tiring day, the blogger leaves the office usually by bus if he finishes work early (5pm-6:30pm) or by a taxi/company car if he finishes late (at about 7pm-4am the next day lol)

Back home, the sister of the blogger moves away from the laptop for a few moments, so that the blogger can sign in again using his msn messenger and chk any mail that has been received from the moment he switched off his pc in office.

And just right now, the blogger is writing this post and once, he publishes this page, he will add a link to his msn messenger, so that his fellow mates can check out his blog and add comments…

And finally, he goes to bed, hoping that tomorrow he will get loads of comments and hits!

So,
now you know how to make him happy,
when he will be checking his mail!!!

Expectations : a long weekend of 4 days minimum koz tomorrow friday is public holiday in mauritius, and it seems that today, the cyclone warning class 3 will persist and may even be upgraded to class 4. 

Current Situtation:
Pratically no rain and small gusts of winds in the north. Cyclone believed to have a small diameter and active within that area.

Being the last post of 2007, i will be blogging abt this year’s event, followed by my expectations & resolutions for the coming year… For me, 2007 has been a year filled with lots of events

• Uni’s 3rd & Final year period being hard but as well much enjoyable as the other years
• End of my tertiary studies at uom and graduation ceremony
• Submission of final year project, successfully and proudly completed
• My first job (5months already) at dcdm consulting, after lots of favorable interviews in many other companies.
• Lots of new colleagues who are as good as my unforgettable friends at the university
• The different camping and outings organised among friends (uni & colleagues)
• The huge amount of close friends i made this year

2007 has also been a year, which made me realise lots of things at uni, and in my personal life…

The importance of having friends on whom u can rely upon, The selfishness and unfaithfullness of a person, lots of memories, fortunately some among which, are already fading away… The hard work being accomplished, experience and satisfaction gained, without forgetting the time at which am leaving office these days, the record being 23:15hrs…

For the whole year, the only thing that turned comparing the resoltions i made in 2006 for 2007 to the reality of 2007,

• Stop growing more taller (ok)
• Stop being the problem-solver of everyone! (ok)
• Stop Drinking Beer, drink more powerful !(ok)
• Start to tell lies (not ok)
• Change my Dj Name (according to Neha) it would now be DJ PasseLeTemps! (not ok)
• Seriously become serious about serious studies (ok)
• Finish my end of year project and exceed the expectations (ok)
• Get at least +6% in my End Of Year CPA (not ok :-\ )
• Get myself a new domain (ok)
• Start Using a higher resolution, y not 1280×800? (ok)
• Last But Not The Least PARTY !!!!!!!!!!!!! (ok)

One very big change in 2007 was in my life, and this had a ripple effect everywhere, up to the name of my blog….
but fortunately, another angel also made its appearance, bringing a huge smile

So, now lets talk about 2008 and its resolutions….

2008 will be a year full of challenges, starting right now!
Lots of work scheduled for the coming year, the first one being the submission of a project on the 4/5 Jan 2008, the one which i am currently working on till very late these days.

Here comes the resolutions, the same which i will be assessing the success & failures in exactly 1 year..

• The end of my probation period (6months) at Dcdmc
• Priority in life would be strictly professional.
• Further studies (masters or msc) will be probably scheduled in 2009.
• Bringing some changes at home, renovations etc… lol, mum pu happy
• Finalizing some other changes in personal life…
• Killing off the remains of some undesirable memories & some1 really disgusting & unfaithful.
• Purchase of a new desktop or a laptop
• Some physical exercise, ventre p sorti r tout fast food p manzer la when doing overtime hrs(just like 2day!)
• Start Saving Money, lol !
• Save money but new mobile, again
• Continue to enjoy life with those friends & colleagues who bring a smile everytime (arrete gonfler vous otres!)
• Continue being funny hih, just as others like it

To end i would like to thank all those who were with me during the whole year, i will try to quote the names, but plz, dont mind if some names are missing, perhaps i just forgot, or u didnt mean anything lol.
I insist on putting the names koz am sure, it will bring a smile to those who see their names here

i wanted to post this since a few days back, but i am so overloaded with work i dont get time even to check my facebook at work!

ya, these days, i am following a training for “WebDev”.

Its a software package for building web sites or web applications, a 5th generation language, with instructions written in French!!!

For those who didnt heard of it before(just like me), it is a product from People Soft, allowing rapid development of web sites since everything is graphical. Anyone can create complicated web sites in hours(depends)

Lets talk about the interesting things:

The training will go on till next wednesday, even this saturday, i have a whole day training!

Well, that was the fun part of this post but thesedays am really really tired and overloaded with work!

Today i left office at 10hrs, hungry hungry hungry, since I had simply no food for dinner and all of us(4) in office were too busy to think to go and buy or order some food!
P gagne sommeil comme tout koz its (only) the 3rd day, i am working after office hours to complete a project.

Yesterday(wednesday) left office at21rs and on tuesday, at 2030hrs…
Life starts here lol….

Certain people are jealous about me and trying to find any stupid excuse to make me feel bad, sometimes they find that i have too many friends on facebook, sometimes they find that i chat too much(lol, letemps pena, apres zotte koze kk) while they also find it hard that i blog my life and everything related to me.
